Hi dear family! I’m Laura and I’m 24 years old. I love reading, listening to music and art and crafts. I am very creative, outgoing and responsible. I love being with kids and be a part of their life’s, that’s why I am an early childhood educator. I have a lot of experience working with kids as I started being a nanny at 15 years old. I have work with three different families, apart from my own one as I took care of my sisters since I was a teen. I have taken care of kids from 4 months to 6 years old being part of their routines, making a lot of activities with them such as make hand-made play dough, cooking, treasure’s maps, dancing, painting… all of them adapted to their ages and making track of their progress as they grow. Furthermore I have work as a teacher in Read more two different schools and as an assistant in other two, which have improved a lot my work and my skills not only as a teacher, but as a person too, such as patience, leadership, communication, understanding and being able to handle all kind of situations. I really believe that the best way to teach or help children with their cognitive development is with games and funny activities that catch their attention. As I have studies in early childhood education I have knowledge about a few educational theories as Montessori or Waldorf, so I can adapt myself to the needs of your family and apply the principles you want me to follow. I have had tons of beautiful experiences working with kids and I never will get tired of it.
