Hello! My name is Nancy, and I received my BS in Early Childhood Education from Penn State with Highest Distinction. As the eldest of 5 kids in my family, I have been taking care of, teaching, & coordinating fun activities for almost my entire life! With over 40 years of experience working with young children in many different capacities, I have enjoyed being: a Live-in Nanny for twin infants, an Infant/Toddler/Preschool Teacher/Caregiver, a Kindergarten Teacher, a Gymboree Play/Music/Art Facilitator, a Field Games Leader/Clown/Children's Event Entertainer/Face-Painter/Balloon Artist, a Youth Soccer Coach, Scout Leader, and, a home-schooling mom of 3 who led classes and clubs at Village Home Ed Resource Center, etc. Recently, I was a devoted "Nancy" for a sweet one year old girl from June 2023-24 and loved every minute of it! I am also proactively safety-conscious, extremely detail-oriented, very adaptable, and 100% reliable. As a caregiver and teacher for children, I have often been told that I am "practically Poppins!" With energetic focus, I always strive to make the most of every moment of every day, seizing spontaneous teachable moments and problem-solving on my feet, while being fully present and devoted to making sure all children feel safe, comfortable, valued, loved, and special. I genuinely enjoy spreading kindness and making others smile. I am always teaching myself new skills and willing to learn more. My CPR and First Aid Certification is current, COVID boosters and all vaccinations are up-to-date, and I have never smoked. I love animals (though not fond of snakes) and have no allergies to cats or dogs. I ADORE babies, and truly enjoy making a positive difference in their growth and development! I strive to give parents happy peace of mind by doing all that I can care for, play with, and love up their little ones like a very energetic, creative, experienced grandparent!
