Hello! My name is Anna Carlini but everyone calls me Annie. I am CPR certified and have many years of experience with children of all age groups. I started my first full-time nannying position when I was 18 years old during the summer between high school graduation and the beginning of college.Since then, I have held 3 long term positions as a nanny in which I was responsible for 2-4 children at one time. In each position, I prepared snacks and meals, performed grocery shopping for the family, did laundry, and kept the house generally clean and tidy. In each job, I was also responsible for assisting children with homework and getting them to scheduled activities on time and with necessary materials. After earning my masters from Pitt in Education, I accepted a job teaching high school special education for 3 years. I then accepted a position as an 8th Read more grade special education teacher in 2020 and stepped away in December 2022. I stepped away from this position after realizing that my passion and skills are not in education, but in nurturing the development of young children. I accepted 2 part time jobs as a preschool teacher and an infant carer at at daycare. I realized very quickly that I loved spending time with the infants. I kept their feeding and diaper schedule, put them down for naps, and kept frequent communication with parents. Unfortunately, the infant room at the place I worked was closed due to being short staffed and I accepted a full time position as a 3yo daycare teacher. I am again on the job market looking to be a nanny again. I loved working with families and getting to know a smaller number of children very well. I enjoy taking care of homes and keeping them tidy. I am willing to do anything to keep children safe and engaged in appropriate activities. My hours are very flexible and I am willing to stay overnight if ever needed.
