Hello! My name is Delaney, I'm a 23 year old from Blue Bell, PA. I have 2 years of paid experience as an in- school substitute at a Spanish Immersion preschool in Philadelphia, where I was in classrooms with children ages 1-5. Here I was in charge for up to 5 children at a time. We spent a lot of time learning by being outside, by singing and dancing, and by playing! This past year, after graduating from Temple University, I set out for a few months of traveling through Latin America, and one of my favorite things I did during this time was volunteer at a foundation supporting the children of a small town in Colombia. I helped with the arts program, where we focused on making art with recycled materials, and an after school sports program for ages 5 up to 15. We we danced, played made- up Read more imagination games, organized soccer and ultimate frisbee games, and much more with the focus of staying active, encouraging teamwork, and, more than anything, having fun.
