I have been babysitting children for about 6 years since I became certified by taking Red Cross classes. Since I have studied early childhood development on my own since it's a huge interest of mine. My brother has autism so I've cared for him a lot which led me to becoming a teacher aide for the special needs class in school. I worked as a teacher aide at a YMCA where I took CPR and first aid classes, child abuse class, and classes on non violent communication as well as redirection ; not punishment. I am a huge believer in non violent communication and practice it daily. I love arts and crafts as well as music and anything involving creativity. I think it's very important for people to find healthy ways to express themselves whether it be through art or writing or singing or what not.
