Hi there! My name is McKinley and I'm a recent college graduate from the University of Oregon who also has recently relocated from Portland to SF. I'm fluent in French, have ten years of nannying and childcare experience, and love to be a support to families and help ease the tireless job of parenting. I'm passionate about seeing children develop and learn lifelong skills. I'm punctual, organized, nurturing, and understanding. My approach to childcare is based around the Curiosity approach (coined by Lyndsey Hellyn & Stephanie Bennett) which encourages children to embrace figuring things out, discover and explore. The Curiosity approach believes that parents, educators, and childcare providers have the responsibility to reinforce this innate childhood curiosity to give children the confidence to develop their own theories about the vast world around them.
