Welcome! I am a Portland-based educator and youth worker. I received my Master’s of Education from the University of Minnesota, as well as undergraduate degrees in English and Youth Studies. I have been doing a combination of nannying, tutoring, coaching, and now teaching for over ten years now. I'm currently looking for a bit of extra income to supplement teaching and am usually available on weeknights and weekends! I have a strong background in literacy, but I teach a variety of subjects at an arts-integrated school here in Portland and may be able to provide academic support to your child as well. Please reach out if you think we'd be a good fit. :) https://www.linkedin.com/in/emma-heckel/
