Meet Sarah

  • Comfortable with pets

My name is Sarah and I am a mother of 2. I have a 3.5 year old boy and a 14 month old girl. Both very active, fun, loving and great with other kids. I am currently working full time as a pharmaceutical representative and have been with the company for just under 5 years. At this time in our lives, my husband and I have decided we are more than ready to be home with my babies. While I have been working, my children have been cared for in the home of another mother of 2. They have loved their time there and it has allowed for them to interact on a daily basis with other children. We also have them play in the daycare at our gym and they love playing with other kids. Beginning July 10, 2017 I will be home full time. Before working in healthcare Read more I was a nanny to 2 different families. The first family had two boys between the ages of 3-5. I was with them for a little over a year. My time with them was fun and a great learning experience, however the hours became unstable, unpredictable and I was looking for something more structured. I decided to find a family with more reliable hours and a structured routine. I found a family of 2 (4.5 year old girl and a 9 month old boy). After about 1 1/2 years with the family, they welcomed their 3rd child, another boy. I cared for them for almost 3 years before getting into the healthcare field. They became family to me and now 7 years later, we are still close friends and still get together to catch up and have our kids play together. When I care for children, I care for them as if they are my own. Every day we have a routine. I feel it is very important for children to have structure, discipline and routine in their days. Not every day is perfect, but with patience, guidance and a lot of love, we get through the hard days just as well as the good. Daily activities would include arts/crafts, learning ABC's, numbers, singing, walks to the park, reading and my sons favorite, "pretend time". I am very excited to be home with my children and understand how incredibly difficult and scary it is to find someone you can trust to take care of your kids. They are your life, your pride and joy and you only want what is best for them. I will care for your child the way I do my own by helping them grow, learn, and be loved daily. I would love to be that person you can trust and comfortably leave your child(s) with. Being that I have my own children, I would be watching your child(s) in my home.
