I have two daughters age 7 and 9 who are the light of my life. I was blessed to be able to stay home with them until they both started all day school. Both love learning and excel in school. During my stay at home mom years I also spent approximately 1 year as a nanny caring for my best friend's special needs (bi-lateral clubbed feet) son who is 11 months younger than my 7 year old. This was during his first year of life and involved bottle feeding and diaper changes while working around hip to toe casts on both legs and later special braces, boots, and bar used to treat the clubbed feet. I consider him to be like my third child.
