There really is no greater joy in life than teaching and helping children! I have worked as a nanny, a preschool teacher, an elementary special education assistant, and in children’s mental health services as a behavioral health coach in an elementary school. I have worked with children of all ages and stages. I have experience working with children with many different diagnoses, including ADHD, autism, ODD, as well as learning disabilities. I received my Child Development Associate in 2007, and have continued on in my professional development education. My first aid and CPR certifications were recently updated in October 2024. I love to help children learn through creative play and hands on activities. I am a firm believer that children are better learners when they are having fun! I am also a big believer in communication between caregivers, because it really does take a village.
