HELLO! So good to meet you, I’m Maria! I just finished my fourth year of full time teaching at the middle school level and am taking a year or two break from the teaching world. I would love to assist your family throughout the school year and potentially beyond! Prior to teaching, I spent my summers working for summer camps or nannying for families around my hometown; I have worked with ages 6 months all the way through young teenagers. My education degree has me certified to teach language arts and social studies grades 4-9, but I have also tutored younger elementary, am certified in phonics and reading instruction, and am familiar with present day math instruction. I value living an active life, spending time outside, finding the positives in all situations, being present in each moment, reading, and seeking out as much joy as possible. I hope to get Read more to know your family!
