Hello! My name is Kelsey, and I have been in childcare & early childhood education for over 6 years now! I’m devoted to helping children develop and teach their full potential. I have worked with all age groups at a childcare center that was home like with a small ratio. It was truly such a rewarding and fun experience watching them learn and grow. I started as an infant teacher and just love those early years with babies, it is so precious watching them grow! I helped in the toddler room as well, and am experienced with potty training, and keeping toddlers busy full of enriching activities. My last year working at the center I was as a young preschool teacher teaching with a curriculum. I would prepare themed centers based off of books! I loved seeing the students so excited, and having fun while getting prepared for pre-k! I’m Read more also a mom myself to a 13 year old and a 3 year old. My most current position I was a private nanny from our home, and it gave me the opportunity to stay home with my youngest as well. As a nanny at home I am experienced at still keeping on a set schedule just like we would at a childcare center (breakfast/bottle feeds, circle time, diaper changes/potty breaks, free play, snack, nap, lunch, learning activities, outdoor time, etc) I ran everything out of my home like an in home childcare center. I kept everything organized and labeled according to Ohio standard (bottles labeled and logged formula and breast milk) as they got older I loved cooking with them! Breakfast & lunch! Toddlers love to explore new foods/ textures but also love to measure and help out in the kitchen! I always made sure to use quality organic ingredients, lots of fresh fruit, vegetables, and protein. I provide time logs with all feeds / diaper changes so parents can know exactly what to do when they get home, pictures sent to parents throughout the day, lots of play/learning activities/art and a loving, structured environment. ❤️ little about me… my goal is to eventually open my own childcare center when the time is right! I love to travel with my husband & kids, workout at the gym, go on bike rides, walk on new nature trails with my kids, & I love a good beach or pool day! 💕 I look forward to meeting you and your family!
