Hello, I cannot wait to meet your wonderful children. My childcare experience is very vast and varied. I babysat during my teenager years for family and friends children. When I went to college I received a Bachelors degree in Elementary Education. During my time at college, I had a few different long term babysitting jobs. I took care of a boy from the age of 1 through 6 at varying lengths over the years. This was great experience for me while I was taking child development and other education based classes. Coming up with fun, exciting activities for this child was different then without Pinterest but the local library always had great books to research activities and ideas to do with a little boy. I also was a part time nanny for two preschool aged girls in college. At the end of my college career, I got a job after Read more school at a local daycare where I was in charge of the after school kids from ages 5-12. This was a great experience with many different ages each day. Over the last 20ish years, I have babysat for kids varying from the ages of infant through 11. In 2001, I received my masters in library science and the last 18 years I have been a youth services librarian. I was in charge of programs for babies through school aged. I did many story times and programs through the years. It has been a very exciting career but I now am wanting to get away from organizations and get back to personally taking care of children.
