Years ago in high school, I was a dedicated babysitter to twin boys. I started with them when they were 5 years old and ended with them when they were going on 8, as I was going to begin living in Cincinnati full time for college instead of coming home for breaks. I initially just babysat for them for a few hours every few weekends in the summer but that turned into a full time nanny position during the summers from 7 am to 3 pm. This included getting the boys dressed for the day, preparing meals (breakfast and lunch, with one boy having a specific diet due to low weight), light cleaning, and activities with the kids. As of recently, I have been working as a behavior technician at an autism intervention center with kids 3 to 7 years old. As you can imagine, this involves a lot of Read more flexibility, patience, and kindness! I enjoy working with kids, seeing their personalities, and helping them learn and grow! However, I am looking for a different setting to do that in.
