I worked for a single dad in Kentucky for about a year and a half before going off to college. During that time I cared for a 9 yr old boy and we got along so well that he still sends me life updates and keeps in touch. Since then I have become a Sunday school teacher at 7 Hills Church where I teach and care for kids age 2 months - 6 yrs. There is no greater job to have than to work with kids and see how they learn and navigate life. I love working with children because they are tiny humans experiencing life for the first time, but they have so much love to share. They are truly God's gift to earth and I love being able to help them learn and experience life in a way that is fulfilling and nurturing.
