Hi! I'm Josie, a former teacher looking to get out of the classroom to make more meaningful connections with the children I care for. For the past two years, I taught toddlers in a Reggio-Emilia-inspired setting and my favorite part of my job was building relationships with my students and their families. After two years I learned that classroom teaching maybe isn't for me, but my passions still remain in childcare. I've been babysitting and working/volunteering in childcare settings and schools since I was 11 years old, so even as a 24-year-old, I've got over a decade of experience working with children as young as six weeks to as old as middle schoolers! I have my bachelors in Early Childhood Education and know all about child development, specifically for toddlers (18 months - 3 yrs). Planning fun, engaging, educational activities is my bread and butter. Some of my favorite things Read more to do with kids include nature walks, reading together, dance parties, or anything involving art and science!
