Hi there ! I've been a nanny/babysitter for over 10 years. Aside from raising three children of my own, ive worked in a daycare in addition to working with families long term. I first started out with a family that has two daughter's whom i have watched grow. I took care of one of them starting when she was 6 months and then her sister came along later. I played with them, fed them, bathed them, washed their clothes/parents clothes, light housekeeping, and took them to school/extracurricular activities. I stayed with them for about 6 years until they moved quite far in NY. however we are still like family. I worked with a single mom for a short period of time because she needed someone to watch her son after school so he would come over my house to eat, play, and read. Then, I worked with a family who Read more had a child with special needs. He has an inherited uncontagious illness so he wasn't able to go out much. However, I spent four years with him and I fed him, played with him, and we went over educational topics such as shapes, colors, numbers, etc. I know what it's like to be a parent and it's definitely not an easy job which is why I enjoy being a nanny/babysitter because Im more than sure of reassuring parents that their little ones are in good hands! I'm very patient, kind, loving, and caring.
