Hello! My name is Tamara. I previously was the owner/operator of a NYS licensed daycare center in the Schodack area for about 7 years before making the difficult decision to close my doors due to difficulties caused by the pandemic. I managed a staff of 12 and had between 20 to 40 children on any given day. It was one of the saddest days for me because I absolutely adore children and became very close with them and their families. I am familiar with all ages and can handle anything from changing diapers to getting them on and off the bus. I have experience developing lesson plans, doing arts and crafts, getting children on a daily routine and preparing meals. I will be finished with my Associates Degree in Early Childhood Administration in May 2023 after which I will continue on for my Bachelors. My main goal is to make sure your child is safe and happy and that you are safe and happy. I have my own transportation, Im comfortable with pets and I also have no problem doing some light housework.
