Greetings family My name is Shadiana {or Sade like the singer}. I am interested in a full time nanny position. I have 4 years experience as a nanny/ baby sitter. I have worked with two families in the past, I am CPR and Fire Safety certified I have just completed classes in First aid. I would like to take a moment to introduce myself to you. I am a education and child psyc major with a 3.9 GPA. I plan to be a grade school teacher . I am taking time off to earn some extra money for school and 3.9 GPA. I plan to be a Pediatrician. I am taking time off to earn some extra money for school and books. I am VERY athletic and love sports my favorites are running, swimming and soccer but my second passion is arts. I love the arts I have been singing and Read more dancing going on 12 years now. I hope your children will take interest in me because I am a great nanny whom is diverse. I love children I DO NOT believe in just sitting down and watching TV with them. I strongly believe for a child to have his or her own personality is to be able to partake in different activities. Which helps them to develop their motor and social skills interact with society. Children should laugh, play and have fun while learning. I love field trips showing children our great city, not only is it fun but they are able to learn the history behind our great city. Parks, Horseback riding, Chelsea Piers is a small part of what NY has to offer a child. I believe in keeping them physically active however it is also important to enrich their minds with occasional trips to the Planetarium, Museum and Library. A day should be filled with adventure so they can run and tell you “MOMMY, DADDY guess what I did today? Just as you would love to tell them guess what I did at work today? I look forward to having a chance to sit down and having an opportunity to personally discuss how I may be an asset to your family. I also want to thank you for taking the time to read my letter. I hope you choose me as a candidate to be a part of your children’s lives. If further information is needed please don’t hesitate to ask. Upon your request it is my pleasure to furnish the names and numbers of my references.

Shade came into our house like the sunshine, full of energy and life which was soo refreshing for exhausted parents and grandparents of 3 month old triplets! Within weeks the babies had a routine and excitedly anticipated song and story time in the mornings and afternoons. Shade is very knowledgable regarding childhood development. Our babies were read to every day with different books, thanks to weekly trips to the library. She is an outdoors person and is not afraid to get dirty. Shade cared a lot for our babies and was very much a part of the family - always in communication with parents and grandparents about developmental milestones or any concerns. Now a multiples expert, Shade has the energy to keep up with any babies/toddlers and knowledge to ensure they thrive.

Shadiana (nickname "Shaday") is an absolutely wonderful nanny who has been a close part of our family for 3.5+ years. She's helped our youngest daughter blossom from a six month old baby to a thriving four year old and has helped our infant boys for the first year of their lives. She's warm, kind, energetic, fun and very safety conscious (diligent about wearing masks, sanitizing, hand washing etc.). She will bring a lot of joy and excitement to any family's home and approaches childcare with a fine balance of fun and development (bringing in age appropriate books and toys) and ensuring that kids are reaching the appropriate milestones. I'd be happy to provide a reference to anyone who wants to speak. There is a good reason that she was with us for 3.5 years and helped us around the home and with our little ones before they transition to preschool/daycare. Any family would be lucky to have her!

Shadie cared for our 3-year-old daughter, and she was the perfect nanny for our daughter at this age. Every day was a different adventure between trips to Central Park, The Children's Museum, The Natural History Museum, and many more exciting and interesting places. Shadie is a native New Yorker, so she knows the city better than most, and has no problem finding activities or navigating the city by subway, bus, or cab. She has an infectious and upbeat personality. Her love of music, dance, and sports that ensured that she was able to actively engage with our daughter on a daily basis. She also understands very well the need to balance adventure and active play with intellectual stimulation in the form of storytime, drawing, and working on letters and numbers. We love Shadie and are sad to have to part ways with her due to changes in our circumstances. Her next family will be lucky to have her caring for their kids.
