Hi! My name is Hayley. I am a 25 year old living in the East Village. I recently got my master's in English from Hunter College and I have been babysitting for nine years. In that time, I also worked as a mother's helper (1 yr), spent 5 years as a counselor at a day camp, was later the director of nursery at that same camp (2 summers), and ran arts-and-crafts themed children's parties at the Katonah Art Center (2 years). For the past two and a half years, I have been nannying a boy on the UES daily, as well as babysitting children in Chelsea, the UWS and Astoria. I promise to always be a warm, silly presence with your children, while also providing structure and discipline. Some projects I've done recently with kids include: making bird feeders and bird houses, making board games, making books, collaging, sculpey figurines, and more! I was a very sporty kid myself, so playing sports with kids (or teaching kids to play sports) is also something I get a kick out of. I am super reliable, will always put your child's safety above my own, and know my way around the city. I am CPR certified! I am vaccinated, and taking COVID precautions!
