My name is Sophie and I am a 28 year-old who has watched children of various ages over the years. I babysat a teacher's toddler/ helped around the house during my senior year of high school, watched a 5 and 6 year old over one summer during college and taught pre-school children in Vietnam for a year, while completing a Fulbright scholarship in 2018-2019. I also lived with a host family whilst in Vietnam, where I frequently watched and taught english to my 3 and 6 year old host sisters. I really love working with children and have always been a great helper within the home. I am a triplet and also have an older sister, so I was raised in a busy household, where all of us were constantly needing to rush to various extracurricular activities. I have fond memories of my babysitters from childhood and would love the Read more chance to give back by gaining more experience working as a babysitter myself. In college I was trained in wilderness first aid and was a leader for an outdoor orientation program that is run for first year students. I also served as a residence advisor for first-year students during my sophomore year of college and then as a manager of multiple such advisors in my role as a residence coordinator during my junior year. I think what sets me apart is my desire to look out for others, my attunement to the needs of all, my good housekeeping skills, and my ability to manage a busy schedule. I also grew up singing, dancing, acting, and dancing and thoroughly enjoy making up various plays with my 5 and 9 year old cousins!
