I currently teach afterschool to children’s ages 5-10 at Cornwall Elementary. I also teach acting and created a costume playtime for children ages 5-10 at Newburgh Armory on Saturdays. Starting from age 8 on my Grandparent's farm in Atlanta Georgia, I have always been enthralled to be part of any classes or activities for children. My Grandfather enlisted me as assistant for the summer camp we offered. While at University studying theatre, I created the Playground Players Acting School for children ages 6-12 in my hometown of Atlanta Georgia. I also helped create classes for various Day Camps and branches of The YMCA. Moving to NYC I have had a long career as a Live Events Producer, but have always kept my teaching skills at the ready, helping with friend's children. Most recently I taught after school drama at PS 10 Brooklyn to ages 6-10 and created a very popular Read more costume playtime for Kindergartners. I now live in Monroe having moved here to produce the children’s shows at Legoland. With that job now at an end I will be pursuing childcare experiences here on Sittercity and teaching children acting and musical theatre once again. I currently have great flexibility with timing and availability so please feel free to contact me. I look forward to helping parents here in the beautiful upstate area I now call home!!
