I am from upstate New York in Rochester. I have completed some college in Psychology and Nursing- both with honors! I have been a nanny for 10 years and also have 14 years of babysitting experience. As of 2020, I watch 15 children- 6 of them on a daily basis. I am CPR and first aid certified for both infants/children and adults. I have experience with newborns, infants, toddlers, elementary-aged children, pre-teens, teenagers and children with disabilities. One of my current families that I babysit for has a disabled child. I take care of their 2 year old who has a feeding tube, one lung, and is very delayed in development. I work everyday with him and his therapists to help him advance in development. My passion is working with children by incorporating music, games, arts and crafts, learning, outings, and lots of love. My goal as a nanny is always having the children and family’s best interest in mind- by making sure the children are safe, having fun, and learning! I believe that outdoor time is very important for children because it helps them not only appreciate the world we live in but also helps get their energy out in a healthy way. My last nannying job was for a family with a child who has ADHD and sensory processing disorder which both present learning struggles. Through this, I have become a strong tutor and teacher for children. I am extremely patient and am willing to work with them to find a way that helps them learn best. I am a very warm, loving person and I love watching children blossom and grow. I find working with children very rewarding because they are the future and they can do anything they set their mind to. I always put my all into working with children and ensure that I maintain a warm, safe environment while making sure they grow up to be an independent, healthy adult. I also adore animals and have grown up with dogs and cats. I always ensure to keep the household that I work in clean and organized and love to help teach children responsibility. Currently I am an Au Pair in Germany for 2 beautiful girls ages 9 and 11. I decided to take a year to nanny abroad to gain cultural experience and I have found it to be the most rewarding job as well as an opportunity for personal and professional growth.
