I'm new to Sittercity.com but I'm not new to care-giving. I've been a sitter for children both in the US and in West Africa. My first sitting job was at the age of 14 for a 3 year old (weekends only since I was still in school at the time). From that time on I've continued working with children and it really is a joy if mine. I enjoy reading to the children, doing arts and crafts, puzzles, outside activities and board games. I've performed morning and bed time routines, light cleaning, cooking, baking, homework help and tutoring for previous families.
