My name is Marisa and I am a 29 year old Brooklyn native with natural motherly instincts and a desire to help in any way I can. Since the fall of 2016, I worked as a nanny/regular sitter for several families with ages ranging from 2 1/2 to 10. During that time, I babysat many children ranging in age from 10 months to 12 years. For the 2015-2016 school year I was a school/teacher's aide at a Department of Education Pre-K Center, working with nearly 50 boys and girls between the ages of 3 and 5. Prior to that, from 2011-2013 I taught dance classes to girls between the ages of 1 1/2 and 12. Though I do not have a driver's license yet, I have a lifetime of experience using NYC's public transportation and can use it whenever needed to navigate the city with your children. As a music Read more lover, I can sing and play guitar, so if your children are interested I would love to share my knowledge and encourage their passion. As an animal lover, I am comfortable with pets of all kinds, even the exotic ones. As a food lover, I am fully capable of preparing healthy meals and snacks for your children and although I am vegan, the food I serve them doesn't have to be. As a sitter, my main goals are to keep the children happy and safe while making the parents' lives easier, and at the end of every day I hope to leave you all with smiles on your faces.
