The best part about babysitting is when you are with a family frequently and for a long period of time. Over the years you get to see the children that you once knew as an infant to grow up and be self-sufficient school kids. The child that you once knew that needed your help to even walk up the stairs now knows how to shower on their own and do their homework on their own, and even the fact that they have homework, is enough proof alone of how much they have grown up. You get to take care of children who look up to you and look to you for help and guidance and play with them and read them stories and sing them songs, but for the most part you don't have to be the bad guy, you're just the fun babysitter.
