I am currently employed with The Center for Discovery where I was hired as an assistant group teacher in June of 2022 and soon later became a lead group teacher. In over the last year, I have worked with many children ranging from the ages of 4 months to 5 years old. I have worked most closely with 18 month - 3 year olds. Before working at the daycare, I was the lead supervisor for the Kids Club after school program at Cornwall Elementary from October 2021 until June 2022. I worked with children ranging from ages 5 - 9 and also supervised staff. In January of 2022, I became a part time nanny for a 2 year old boy and am now his and his 6 month old sisters occasional babysitter. In May of 2022, I also started working for another family as an occasional babysitter (children were 3 Read more and 5 years old). I have developed great, loving relationships with these two families, as well as many of the children I have worked with at the daycare and would love to continue to do so. I am a fun, caring, and patient person. I am passionate about providing the best care for children, teaching them through positive reinforcement, and creating a safe, vulnerable space for them to feel and grow. Most of all, I love to have safe fun. I am CPR/First Aid certified. I have an Associates is Criminal Justice and a Bachelors in Communications but I have always loved engaging and working closely with children and want to continue to do so. Working for myself is a bonus. In my free time, I enjoy hiking, caring for my nieces and nephews, and creating memories with my family and friends! I would love to discuss my experience further and am eager to find a position that is not only a great fit for me but for a great family as well!
