I am a nursing student at St. Peter’s College of Nursing & PCT on the maternity unit at SPH, graduate from SUNY University at Albany’s Psychology Honors program. Always willing to be there in case of emergency or sick days! I conducted research on Child Development in the Troy City Preschools, and truly enjoy being able to take part in the care and growth of children. I started babysitting at age 13, and throughout high school babysat for a two year old boy whom I nannied for the summer he turned 4, a family with two girls one age 6 and one age 8, a family with two girls one aged 5 one aged 7, a family with a two year old girl and a 4 year old boy, and several family members and friends children intermittently. I firmly believe that when watching a child it is important to ensure Read more engagement and a positive environment are supported. After graduating, I was the Training Administrator and a Behavioral Therapist for Autism Learning Partners. I was an intake coordinator and program manager for Living Resources, as I have a passion for serving individuals with special needs. The impact that COVID-19 has had on families and their children deeply saddens me. As I am too far to help with childcare for my own family members, I would love to provide support for someone in my community. I am open to after school care, tutoring on virtual days to support schoolwork, as well as any car needed on evenings and weekends. Please feel free to contact me by telephone or email, I can’t wait to connect and discuss how I can be there for you and your loved ones! Thank you! -Ivy (585) 610-3458 ivyspas@outlook.com
