I love to keep a generally calm energy, but I can keep up with the fastest of the bunch. It’s important to me that everyone around me is comfortable! I have a deep passion for helping children of all ages learn, cope and maximize their happiness. I’m excited to be a positive influence on people’s lives. I am a Daycare Aid/ Infant teacher of two years for BabySteps Development daycare where I care for 5-9 infants and toddlers on a regular weekly schedule. I have three years of infant care experience prior to this as a full-time caretaker of my 0-2 year old niece and infant nephew. Most of my experience is with young children: toddlers and infants. However, I have worked with preschoolers as well as middle school children as part of the Lindy Scholars program at Drexel. I spend a lot of time with the kids practicing letters, Read more numbers, animal names, colors, etc. through interactive play. This includes puzzles, coloring, cards, puppets, or physical activity to release excess energy. If the weather is nice, we enjoy walks with the option of sitting in a toddler wagon or trips to the park. My favorite activity is dancing with everyone to the Disney tunes we all know and love.
