After working for a wonderful family for nearly three years and being heartbroken that they had to move away (and due to covid restrictions), I have been greatly missing the kindness, creativity, and friendship being a nanny has to offer. I grew up in a very large household, and being one of the oldest has taught me many great life lessons such as responsibility, patience, and has given me the passion needed to care for young kids and teens. Although I am taking a break from school, I was originally going for Child Care, wanting to understand and work with children (especially children and teens with severe anxiety, speech issues, autism, down syndrome, blind and deafness -- in hopes of helping to erase the negative stigma behind mental illness and disabilities), as well as a few special culinary classes (promises to always make healthy snacks and delicious desserts).
