Hello Families! My name is Sarah and I am looking for a flexible summer childcare position. I am an early childhood educator, with more than 30 years of experience working with children in a variety of settings. I currently work in a public school as an integrated preschool teacher, where I teach a multi-age, diverse learner class of students between 3 and 5 years old. I have worked as a babysitter/nanny, teacher in group child care settings, as well as serving as a teacher in public school in grades Pre-k, kindergarten, and first. I am the mother of two children, ages 15 and 18, and the oldest of 7 children in my family. I love teaching and providing children with opportunities to learn and grow through play and exploration. I love outdoor adventures, arts and crafts, books, and games. I am looking for a summer job where I can work Read more with children, plan fun and engaging activities and outings, and give kids a summer to remember! As a public school teacher, I have undergone background checks and fingerprinting. I have been trained in first aid and CPR, although my certifications need to be renewed. I am familiar with allergy awareness and use of an Epi-Pen, both through school training and because my own son has food allergies. Safety is a top priority. I have training and experience in working with children with special needs. I am flexible, organized, patient, caring, mature, responsible, and fun! I believe strongly in limiting screen time, reading books, and playing in the great outdoors. Fostering imagination, creativity, problem solving, and learning through play are all important to me as a care provider, teacher, and parent. *I am looking for a situation with some flexibility, as I have to drive my 15 year old daughter to and from her summer job. I need a position with either flexible scheduling or a situation where the family is comfortable with me taking the kids with me so I can provide the transportation my daughter needs.

We encourage parents to conduct their own screenings using the background check tools. See what each of the badges covered, or learn more about keeping your family safe by visiting the Trust & Safety Center.

Sarah was a huge help when I needed last minute care for my 4-year old. They were outside practically all day playing everything imaginable! My son had a great time with her (and took a long nap in the afternoon as a result). Sarah is kind, trustworthy, responsible, and a true professional. I will definitely call on her again when I need care.
