As a mother, and one of the oldest of 10 kids in my family, I’ve always been around kids. I was changing diapers VERY young. :) I taught pre-school (ages 3-4) for a year after college before I took a job teaching singing lessons to students of all ages, (but mostly kids!). I sing professionally and still teach voice lessons to this day. I incorporate music in childcare. Fun fact: I am pretty proficient in Spanish, French, Italian and German and I love reading, singing, and teaching different languages. I believe that kids are very special, precious. I believe in letting them speak their minds and validating their feelings. I believe in fairness, integrity, modeling good behavior, and treating others how I want to be treated. My close friends told me that they enjoy that I speak to kids as though they are my equals. I stick to firm boundaries Read more (within reason) around bedtimes, screen time, rules..etc and do my best to make chores fun! I personally like to clean, it’s very likely OCD. I am allergic to cats but I’m okay in some clean homes. Dogs are just fine. That’s plenty of information about me!
