My name is Brianne and I am a certified governess. I have over 20 years of experience in early childhood education serving as a nanny/governess, teacher, or center director. I attended The English Nanny and Governess School. I graduated Cum Laude from Capital University where I earned my Bachelors degree and completed the honors program. My family and I have decided to move from Ohio to North Carolina. We are currently settling into our new surroundings. I would love to find a long-term nanny/governess position with a wonderful, local family. Ideally, I would love to serve a family with either infants or toddlers so that we can all grow together. Not to mention, the majority of my experience has been with children under 3. Many of the talents I possess are quite valuable as a governess. One of my most cherished gifts is my musical ability. I use my voice Read more as a teaching/learning tool, as an emotional outlet, or as a means of enjoyment. I try to teach my charges to use their voices in the same manner. For four years in high school, I sang "The National Anthem" at all of the varsity basketball games. However, leading a crowd in singing is not nearly as enjoyable as singing a lullaby to a drowsy infant. To know that hearing my voice is reassuring and relaxing to someone who does not even know they have ears is a very special and amazing thing. I adhere to traditional morals and values. I have a strong work ethic, high self-esteem, and genuinely care about others. I am patient, disciplined, and strong willed. I aspire to help parents instill these kinds of traits in their children. I would be content knowing that I have aided in placing at least one child on the path to right and good. I tend to see the special, sometimes hidden qualities in children. I will teach my charges to explore and utilize the special gifts they possess and help them overcome any obstacles blocking their paths. I want to let children know how special and valuable they are to their family, to me, and to the world. I want children to realize their potential and use every ounce of themselves to reach it. I want children to grow up knowing that they can do anything if they only believe in themselves. Thank you for considering me as a candidate.
