Hi, my name is Amaiya, I am a college student aspiring to become an ultrasound tech, and my goal is to earn my associates degree in arts as well as my associates of sciences in diagnostic medical sonography. I started babysitting at 15 and I became a full time nanny in the beginning of my senior year at 17. I’ve worked with children from the ages of newborn to 5 years old, however most of my experience is with children ranging from the ages of newborn to toddler. I love working with and taking care of my children, it’s rewarding. I am so grateful to be able to support so many children and their parents. I love to form close bonds with the children and there families. As far as child care, my skills include bottle feeding, burping, diaper changing, sleeping strategies, bath time, and dressing. I also complete house-hold Read more tasks such as cleaning, laundry, grocery shopping or meal prepping. I have my own car allowing me to transport children to and from school, sports events, and different activities. I also offer help with home/school work. I love to plan daily activities to do with each child/all children. This includes arts and crafts, board games, going to parks/swimming pools etc. All activities and services are done with parental permission or consent. My goal is to provide each child with the best care possible, while respecting and catering to the parents wants and needs for their child/children.
