I have loved working with children for all my life. I've cared for infants and children since I was a young teen as a mother's helper to when I became a babysitter for our neighborhood and worked every night I was available. After obtaining my teaching degree I taught students in elementary school with great success and joy. I loved teaching children of diverse backgrounds, ability levels, and economic status. In the past three years I began working as a nanny with families with infants and children ages 1-12 . I also assisted these families with reading and math instruction, speech development, household management, and much more! It is very rewarding to help children have fun and reach their potential and be their best. I also enjoy helping families thrive and be healthy. I have been a lifeguard and have taught swimming to ages 0-70 for over 20 years. I Read more love teaching someone the life skill of swimming as much as I love teaching someone the how to read. I was CPR/First Aid certified in 7/2020 again. I teach French if desired.
