PLEASE READ ALL: ● I have a diverse and expansive background in experience with many different ages, and I enjoy working with every child, even the "difficult" ones! A little background on me: I come from a large, homeschoolig family, and I have been babysitting and tutoring since I was about ten years old. I love children, and I love teaching, so I took that love and became a self employed nanny and tutor for two boys, age 13 and 10, and a girl, age 9, who needed to be temporarily homeschooled (duration of 1 year). After that, I took several babysitting, pet sitting, and tutoring jobs, and gained important experience and insight. I took a break from self employment, and worked in customer service for a time. After finding that it was not fulfilling enough, I went back to child care, and took a job at the Goddard School Read more of Matthews, as a lead teacher for toddlers (18-24 months). I now find myself in search of a position in which I can have a more personal connection with my employers, as well as the children in my care. ● I'm looking for early morning hours OR a part-time position that is flexible enough that I can travel occasionally for my music gigs and visit family (typically around weekends and holidays). ● My transportation situation: I own a reliable vehicle which I am comfortable using for transportation whenever needed, if provided appropriate compensation. I am comfortable with pets, specifically small to medium dogs and cats, however, I am not comfortable with untrained, or aggressive animals. I have 2 years experience in pet care/in-home boarding. ● As far as scheduling interviews: I am currently very flexible with my schedule, so let me know what works best for you, and I can certainly make it happen!
