I have a passion for kids! I have babysat several families' kids since I was in 8th grade, and eventually nannied a family of three boys a few summers ago. The age range of kids I have watched have ranged from infants to middle schoolers. Growing up, I volunteered in Sunday school classes where I cared for both infants and toddlers, and I eventually led a 2nd grade small group. I graduated in 2020 from Georgia College with a major in psychology. Having a degree in psychology helps me to be empathetic towards children's emotions and actions, and I work with this background to help coach children emotionally through their behavior. After graduating, I worked at a private foster care agency in south Georgia as the support services staff member, and I partnered with foster parents to provide care and support to the foster children in their home. Oftentimes, this Read more looked like babysitting their foster children (with varying ages from newborns to a 14 year-old), taking them to appointments, and facilitating events for them! My more recent experience has been nannying for a family of 3 younger children, and I have loved it, but am looking for something new. My experiences with babysitting, nannying, leading events, and teaching have all grown my desire to continue to work with kids in a home setting. I want to continue to cultivate the foundation parents have built for their kids and help out in any way that I can, as well as be a consistent support to the family over time! I am enthusiastic, hard-working, detail-oriented, and relational! Overall, I just want to help fulfill the needs of your family!
