Hello! My name is Jill. In my early teens I would spend every weekend working at the Children’s Museum of Atlanta volunteering in the art center. When I graduate high school I was offered a position as a field trip educator where I took classes of up to 300 students around the museum for a fun and detailed tour in the museum. On the days I wasn’t doing tours I conducted science, math, and art classes. Because of my hard work and dedication during my first summer there I was offered a assistant teaching position, to which I prepared snacks, games, and activities for each class all summer. After that amazing summer I spent six months in Port Macquarie, New South Wales where I au paired for a family with two children the ages of three and six. It was the most amazing experience of my life and I made Read more so many beautiful connections. I spent my days getting the kids ready and taking them to school, taking them to after school activities, helping with homework, preparing meals, and of course making art and having fun! I also was in charge of making sure the family dog had his medicine and was keeping his training up. When I arrived back to the states, The position of field trip educator at the children’s Museum was discontinued. I still had such a passion to work with children so I started a tutoring business on top of an Airbnb business. I tutored two children, one in the sixth grade and one in the eighth grade. I continued with my business up until the COVID-19 virus hit America. Working with children safety was difficult at the time so i had to shut down my tutoring business. I moved to Charlotte, North Carolina and worked at the Charlotte Douglas airport as a UM runner where it was my duty to make sure minors got to their gates on time and safely. I was soon promoted to UM dispatch, to which I would use code to assign runners to minors and talk to the parents during any inconvenience.
