Hi! It's nice to meet you. I have 8 years of experience working with children as a nanny, babysitter, and theatre/dance instructor. I love incorporating creativity and expression to help children express themselves and learn how to navigate their emotions. In January, I will begin my Masters of Counseling degree through Montreat College, which is a part-time, online program to become a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist. I also have training in trauma-informed modalities such as Somatic Experiencing, which is a gentle method to help individuals find safety in their bodies, and it helps to regulate the nervous system. I bring a holistic, grounded, and loving approach to working with kids. I also love animals, and am happy to work with families that have animals in the home. I'm comfortable with cooking, housecleaning, helping with homework, driving, spending time outdoors, and more. I look forward to hearing from you!
