Hi, my name is Janie. I grew up in the state of Washington where my passion for working with kids first started. I have 7 years of paid childcare, but lets be real, I'm an auntie to 18 nephew and nieces so I have more experience than just 7 years. Of those years, I have experience working as an Aid for kindergarten and Special Ed through the public school. From there, I worked at Moccasin Lake Ranch where I worked with Methow Valley Riding Unlimited. This is a non-profit organization that works to foster social and emotional development in an outdoor learning environment, interacting with horses. After that, I got accepted to work for a local Montessori School where I have been for the last 3 years. In my free time, I also love to do at home childcare, where I have experience with multiple families within my community. While Read more at that school, I was able to earn certifications in Safe Sleep, 30 hours of Stars Training (rigorous childcare and communication), CPR/First Aid, Abusive Head Trauma, Basic Signs For Baby's and Toddlers, and many others.
