I just completed a nanny position of two tweens at the end of the school year, which included a lot of transportation needs, meal preparation, and some light laundry. I have also assisted my daughter with her in home daycare off & on as needed. Prior to this, I worked as management in the field of developmental disabilities for 17 years, so I have been on the Missouri Safety Care registry for just as many years. I have professional training in many aspects of caregiving including being CPR/ FA certified, including infant CPR, certified to pass medications, and certified or trained in many other areas as well. I have a class E drivers license with a perfect driving record. In addition, I am a mom to three grown children, and a "Grammy" to eight, ages 3-17, who all live locally. I have spent a great deal of time with my Read more grandchildren over the years, continue to watch them at various times, such as for date nights, and I love children, as they always seem to love me. I believe in positive caregiving, hands on care with the little ones, such as to give bottles and hold them for comforting and sometimes sleeping, and sitting on the floor with them for play/tummy time. I love to read to the little ones, sing songs, and play hand games with silly rhymes with the younger ones as well. I am no longer able to work full time, but I can work up to 20 hours each week. I much prefer afternoon, evening, or overnight hours.
