Hello! I am Lorena, I’m 41 and a 20 yr career Nanny. I’ve currently had my second daughter and am shifting gears to finish nursing school. I’m looking for some part time that will allow or my kiddos to be part of the mix. My oldest is in preschool, and my youngest is 10mos. Both are very accustomed to having friends around. I try to strike a balance of guided activities and independent play as studies continue to show that this independent/imaginative play is vital for critical thinking skills, emotional development, and creativity. I continue to explore new literature and educational materials pertaining to childcare and parenting. This of course benefits me professionally, but ultimately it benefits my children. What I bring to the table is a parents eye to watch over your kiddos. Because what I give your kids each day is what I give my own. I have Read more excellent references available on request. I will look after sick kids unless it’s a stomach flu or fever. Colds are no biggie. Im also happy to look after kids in my own home, as we are quite set up for kids here 😊
