Hi! I’m Sam! I’m 26, living in Novi, Michigan with my boyfriend and 2 cats! My hobbies include doing my own nails, baking, camping, and kayaking. I have a clean driving record, reliable transportation, and am CPR/First Aid/AED/Safe Sleep Certified. During my teenage years, I was an experienced swimmer & lifeguard! I realized early on after highschool that early childhood education/ family care is my passion. I have been in childcare since roughly 2017. I have experienced leading infant and toddler classrooms, as well as privately nannying! I started obtaining my CDA during my first lead position at Rosebrook Childcare, but left shortly after COVID started. During Covid, I nannied for an immunocompromised family of 5. I managed the household, provided daily activities for the children, assisted with two children’s separate zoom classrooms & homework, prepared meals, cared for two animals, cleaned lightly, prepared/ sorted laundry, as well as many Read more other miscellaneous tasks that go along with managing a busy household! Once the youngest of this family went off to kindergarten, I nannied my 3m old nephew until he was about 13m old. I took care of everything related to baby, sterilizing, cleaning, keeping track of feeds, ect. After this, I ventured back to commercial childcare in April of 2023. I resumed my CDA online course work at this time. Unfortunately I have realized not everyone shares the same passion for childcare as I do, therefor I have decided I would be better off providing care for a single family.
