Hello there! I'm Lauren. I'm a recent Environmental Studies and Sustainability graduate from Michigan State University. I love to travel, learn new things, and meet new people. I'm a HUGE animal lover and have extensive knowledge on cats/dogs. In middle and high school, I worked in the nursery at my church with kids aged 1 month-7 years. I also nannied for two families my last few years of high school. In one of the families I cared for an 8 year old girl and a 10 year old girl, and in the other a 9 year old girl and an 11 year old boy. The past few years I occasionally babysat for my neighbors that had a 2 month old and a toddler. My senior year of high school I tutored a second grade girl everyday, which carried on into college when I tutored two other second graders living in Read more troubled areas. I worked in a special needs classroom throughout high school helping students with varying levels of disabilities. My past experience makes me very comfortable with children of all ages, I have no preference! I love them all. I have no doubt we'll have a blast together and I look forward to helping them learn new things. I'm currently leaving my job at a Humane Society, so i'm very comfortable with pets!
