Hi, I'm Lena, a former K-12 art teacher. I have a degree in Art Education as well as a TEFL certification. While studying I worked as a nanny and tutor for several families. I grew up with younger siblings so I feel comfortable with infant-toddler feeding/changing/napping. As for the older kids, active play and hands-on learning is the cornerstone of my care-taking/teaching style. While I am with the children I like to keep them involved in educational, fun, and age appropriate activities. Such as: making lava lamps with bottles and glitter, setting up a treasure hunt around the house, or building the most epic cardboard fort ever! As much as I love fun and games, I can also make sure the homework is done, house is cleaned, and laundry is done. One of my nanny families had many food allergies.
