Hello, my name is Karla & I am a 34 yr. old Nanny looking for a full-time position ASAP! I have 15 yrs. experience with children of all ages. I have experience working as an assistant teacher in a pre-k classroom for several years as well as at a day care, working with children ranging in ages 1-4. I also worked part-time as a gymnastics teacher for children ages 3-6 and coached the competitive girls' team there for children ages 8-12. I worked as a Nanny for several different families caring for children ranging from 15 mo- 6yrs. I also have a 15 yr. old daughter myself! I have a lot of experience but most of all, I have a real love for children & truly enjoy doing what I do! Typically, when looking for a position, I like to find something more long-term as children often tend to grow Read more close with their Nannies and too much change can sometimes be difficult for some children. I try to provide as much consistency and stability as possible. When it comes to the type of family I am looking to work with, I would like to find one that I can not only get along with on a professional level, but one I can grow close with and hopefully one day consider to be a part of MY family. I enjoy doing arts & crafts, water play, and going outside to play! I am also a huge music lover, so dancing and singing songs are definitely amongst my favorite things to do! I don't mind doing some laundry, light housework and/or preparing meals. This has been part of my job in the past and I wouldn't mind at all having those chores to do with my upcoming job!
