I was born in Louisiana and raised in Washington, D.C. I am a personable, genuine, and kindhearted person who exudes nothing but joy and love towards others. I currently attend Howard University, majoring in Biology on the Pre-Med track. My hobbies consist of reading, hiking, and cooking. My love for medicine stems from dedicating much of my time to assisting children, as I feel most at peace around them. I volunteered to assist hospitalized children and would participate in their leisure by reading and playing games. Throughout school, I would often help teachers with pre-schoolers during afterschool programs; I've worked as a homework tutor and would help children complete homework before they returned home so they could enjoy evenings with their families. I have also tutored and assisted with disabled adolescents from ages 5-20 years old. Overall, I enjoy spending much time around children, which brings me joy.
