Hello I’m bri, I am 21 and going to be a junior in college next semester. I am going to be majoring in elementary education in hopes to minor in special education. I have my own way of transportation and am the oldest of 7, with an age rang from 2 up to 18 all of which I have driven before. I nannied a bubbly and beautiful 5 year old this past school year and was in love with the job, because of financial issues with the family I had to be let go which is why I am on here. I was a consistent volunteer in the kids club at my old church for 5 years working in the 4-5year old room however I also would be asked to step into rooms who needed more assistance. I also have babysat different cousins and siblings ranging from newborn up to Read more 16 years old, including those who have ADHD and on the autism spectrum. Along with this I worked at Anne Arundel recreational parks child care for over a year where I was able to be trained in first aid along with getting CPR certified. I have always had a heart for children and seem to get along with practically every kid I get to know. My goal is to make every kid I’m with to feel wanted, understood, loved, and cared for. I love to be silly and goof around with kids (yes, I am the 21 yr old u will see dancing and singing like a fool to Disney music with little kids lol) at the same time I am able to earn respect resulting in the kids to know that I am serious when giving direction or talking to them. If there is a point that I need to discuss a wrong doing the child did, I will hear the kid out and make sure they feel heard and understood and lead the conversation into a better way at approaching the conflict(obviously depending on the severity of the incident the way I go about consequences would depend on the parents instruction). I believe in respecting the child’s parents so I will follow any restrictions given. I look forward to meeting you and your family :)
