Raised by parents who had already experienced many things and wisdom had come with their age. I grew up in upstate New York, in a culturally enriched family who loved history, the sciences, arts, music and literature. They celebrated my individuality and raised me with a deep sense of my connections with all living things. Exploring nature and growing creativity with imaginative play I was given a Waldorf education. I loved learning, adventurous exploration and creative expression. And knowing at a tender age that helping others and love of children was sending me towards teaching. All children, from birth through adolescence - need compassionate, supportive, respectful and loving, nurturing care. As a lead infant teacher in Rhode Island and with experience with babies, toddlers, preschool and school age children in Massachusett, New York, Florida and New Jersey. I’ve years of childcare experience as a nanny, babysitter and para educator. And Read more as a daycare teacher in these states leading infant and young toddler rooms I’ve created a curriculum that is both ECC and RIELDS approved. I’m always busy creating an amazing environment. One that I can take pride in. I love the challenging nature of a completely new experience. I love incorporating art, music, love of language, movement and understanding of the natural world. I was raised with a Waldorf background and I’ve experience in a Montessori School. I also use literacy, manipulative play, fine motor building skills and create stimulating imaginative crafts. As I take inspiration from every child I care for.
