Hello! My name is Lucia Pellegrini, I am currently a senior at The University of Massachusetts in Boston studying Early Childhood Education and Development. I have been working with children for over six years and have grown a passion for it since it was my first job when I turned 16 years old. I am currently a Toddler teacher at a childcare center in Medford MA. I run and manage a classroom of nine toddlers from ages 16 months to 24 months. Prior to being a full time teacher, I was working part time in the daycare center assisting all the classrooms on days needed. So I have been fortunate enough to spend time with the children in the infant room, starting at as young as three months old, and have been able to experience working in the Pre-K- room with ages. Being able to work with all these age Read more groups has allowed me to learn how children learn as they grow and how their thought processes work compared to us adults. I love working with children, it is a passion of mine and I am grateful to almost have my degree in the field of Early Childhood Education and Development. A little about me, I am 22 years old and do live in Boston MA currently. I come from a family with loving parents that are still happily married, 25 years strong, and two brothers, an older and younger. I am also hispanic, my mother is from El Salvador, and my father from Italy, so dinner is always a great time at my house! Besides working and going to school I enjoy workout out either with kickboxing, or weightlifting or going for hikes, I am always up for a good adventure. I intend on moving to Austin once I graduate and find the job opportunity that will allow me to do so. As much as I loved New England I want to continue exploring my career in new places.I hope you consider me as a candidate for your new baby and to help support you guys through this new step in life.
